Mompreneur Association Ltd is not just any other association, but the only association bringing together mothers in Uganda with entrepreneurship skills and dreams.

It is a team of women who understand what it takes to run a business and family but succeed at both! At Mompreneur Association Ltd or MAL,  moms and moms-to-be network, build business relationships, opportunities and support each other to grow their businesses and excel in life, one mom at a time.

Mompreneur Association Ltd (MAL) was conceived in 2015 by Gloria Kyeyune Eletu and birthed in January 2016. Gloria Eletu remembers the idea scared her at first. Organizing women is not such an easy task however she went in for it because helping people is something you cannot separate her from, this gave her confidence to begin the Association to support other entrepreneurs to lead a balanced life for their families. “It is possible to have a successful business and a thriving family life without sacrificing one for the other", she says.

MAL strives to give its members a platform where they can network with other female entrepreneurs and local businesses, to make lasting business connections and to provide in person events where they can learn, connect and gain exposure for their hard work. “We are your business family”.

At MAL meet ups they learn about branding their businesses, maximizing growth, sales, business accountability, importance of relationship marketing, and many more fun things that make the meet ups worthwhile and exciting.

It is one thing to encourage mothers to start their own businesses but sustainability of these businesses is another story, bearing in mind these women juggle many responsibilities. This is where MAL comes in to support the development of the Mompreneurs Product and services, through providing the platform to market their businesses, train, get mentorship, inspiration, give moral and spiritual support.

Mompreneur Association is open to all those interested, there are benefits to members and lots of fun things to do and learn, with more than 70 members the association is growing steadily and taking one day at a time.  Our goal is to reach out to one mom at a time, to form a team, with one dream of being successful in all aspects of life.
